From the Bircher grater to high-tech products
Founded in 1849, Egro Industrial Systems AG is one of Switzerland’s oldest industrial companies.
It is responsible for innovations such as the Bircher grater, the first fully automatic coffee machine, and patents in the field of sanitary fittings. Today, Egro Industrial Systems AG focuses mainly on contract manufacturing in the field of sheet metal processing, such as laser cutting, bending, hydro-mechanical deep drawing, pressing, and punching.
Egro Industrial Systems AG also has extensive welding expertise, e.g. in 3D laser welding, robot welding, pressure vessels, and also in regulated areas such as welding for public transport.
